Genesee 167 Acre Solar Farm - Flint, Michigan

Beginning in 2024, J. Ranck Electric Inc. (JRE) was contracted by North Star Clean Energy, for minor procurement and construction of a 48MW DC/ 40MW AC array to expand their Michigan solar generating portfolio. JRE contracts included the installation of AC and DC electrical work including the installation of inverters, transformers, equipment piles and racks, and collection systems. Work also included building a 34.5kV Substation interconnecting to 138kV substation.
