Volunteers and local businesses help HopeWell Ranch construct indoor arena

Feb 27, 2015

HopeWell Ranch, JRE’s FORE THE KIDS 2015 charity selection, serves children with equine therapy during the warmer months, but when the temperatures drop, they are forced to suspend their services. Founder Jodi Stuber has dreamed of having an indoor arena that will allow the ranch to serve children on a year-round basis. Now community members and local businesses are working together to help make the dream of an indoor arena at HopeWell a reality. “…Students from Central Michigan University, members of the Mt. Pleasant Community Church, and His House Christian fellowship worked with other volunteers from local businesses to work on the frame for the Legacy Arena at the Sherman Township equine therapy facility,” reported the Morning Sun. When the framework is finished and steel roofing and siding have gone up, J. Ranck Electric will complete the electrical components of the building. (JRE employees, stay tuned for opportunities to get involved.) The 20,000 square foot arena is expected to be complete in May.

In addition to the article in the Morning Sun, 9 & 10 News covered the event.

Update 3/24/15: Registration for the FORE THE KIDS outing is now open. Reserve your sponsorship or golf at jranck.com/forethekids.
