Truck Parking Information & Management System — Ohio

As part of a larger, 8-state partnership focused on improving the Midwest’s freight transportation network, this project aimed to provide safe and efficient parking for long-haul truck drivers. This project included the installation of equipment to remotely monitor, detect, and display real-time data of open truck parking spaces at nine rest areas on I-75, I-70, and US 33 in Ohio. Spread out over nearly 400 miles of the Ohio highway system, sites were located from Toledo to Cincinnati and from the state line with Indiana to the border with West Virginia.
