Airport Lighting Controls System and Circuit Segmentation – Grand Rapids, MI

In 2015, J. Ranck Electric coordinated a successful installation of the Airfield Lighting Control System (ALCS) while simultaneously completing a complex segmentation of the taxiway lighting circuits. Working closely with the customer and the engineers, JRE managed several changes and necessary improvements to the original project scope. With almost all the circuits being affected at one point during construction, crews worked within a detailed safety and phasing plan resulting in the project being completed safely and with minimal impact to airport operations and the airport’s 120 daily flights.
