Sep 22, 2014

Mt. Pleasant, Mich. — J. Ranck Electric, Inc. (JRE) invites the community to an open house showcasing the new 148kW ground mount solar array system at the company’s headquarters, located off Broomfield Road at 1993 Gover Parkway, Mt. Pleasant. Construction is complete and the generating system is connected to the power grid and producing electricity. Anyone interested in learning more about capturing the sun’s energy and how arrays are built is encouraged to drop in from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. on October 9.

The open house begins with a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m., followed by rounds of informational solar array tours, lasting  about 30 minutes each. Guests will learn not only about JRE arrays, but also the latest in government and utility incentives and financing options that make solar power a real possibility for businesses and homeowners in Central Michigan.

JRE is making solar work for businesses around the Midwest and is making solar part of its own energy savings plan. JRE has installed solar arrays at three of its locations in Michigan, including its Flint office and a warehouse in Center Line.
