Mount Pleasant Heavy Equipment Mechanic
You will be responsible for servicing and maintaining all equipment along with a team of other mechanic shop staff. Our mechanics perform scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshoot problems, and perform necessary repairs on many different types of equipment, including cranes, excavators, digger trucks, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, pumps, compressors, bucket trucks, cars, pickup trucks, semi-trucks and various other equipment related to the electrical trade. CDL preferred, but not required. The workday is Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. with a ½ hour duty-free lunch.

Specific Job Duties
Troubleshooting. Based on reports from the field, you will have to diagnose problems with various types of equipment. Understanding the operation of the piece of equipment and the appropriate diagnostic tests is required. 
Repairs/Overhauls. Our mechanics are required to perform repairs based on troubleshooting the equipment or perform scheduled maintenance. Overhauling engines and transmission may be required, as well as repairs of differentials, hydraulic and electrical systems. Welding may be a routine requirement of this position. 
Training. This position requires various types of job-related training with respect to operation, company operating procedures and other specialized training in such areas as Hazard Communication and Lockout-Tagout.

Wage is dependent upon experience with a benefit package that includes medical, paid time off, uniforms, paid training and company-match 401k.

As a summer warehouse assistant, you will assist all warehouse operations including loading/unloading vehicles and equipment, maintain warehouse environment (sweep/dust/trash removal), assist with grounds and building maintenance, assemble orders, distribute and maintain material/tools/vehicles/equipment.
