Mechanic - Center Line, Michigan

In this full-time role as a qualified heavy equipment mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining all equipment out of our Center Line, Michigan warehouse. Our mechanics perform scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshoot problems and perform necessary repairs. It is ideal if you have at least three years of electronic diesel engine and brakes experience, certification is not required. The workday is Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. with a ½ hour duty-free lunch.

Troubleshooting.  Based on reports from the field, you will have to diagnose problems with various types of equipment.  Understanding the operation of the piece of equipment and the appropriate diagnostic tests is required. The tests will frequently require interpretation. The mechanic will have to reach critical areas of the equipment to perform the diagnostic tests, which can require awkward postures.
Repairs/Overhauls.  Our mechanics are required to perform repairs based on troubleshooting the equipment or perform scheduled maintenance. Overhauling engines and transmission may be required, as well as repairs of differentials, hydraulic and electrical systems. Welding may be a routine requirement of this position.

Warehouse Technician - Center Line, Michigan

J. Ranck Electric is seeking a full-time Warehouse Technician to work in Center Line, Michigan. Must be a self-directed, hard worker. Duties include loading material, snow removal, operating forklift, delivering tools and material, and assisting with warehouse projects. Knowledge of electrical parts preferred. CDL a plus.

Warehouse Assistant/Co-op - Monroe, Ohio

We are a Michigan electrical contracting company searching for a Warehouse Assistant/Co-op to assist at our Monroe, Ohio warehouse location. You will assist with all warehouse operations as assigned by your supervisor, which may include sorting and organizing material, loading and unloading trucks, cleaning warehouse/work stations and assisting with grounds and building maintenance. 

This job operates in a professional warehouse environment and is occasionally performed in outside weather conditions. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration may occur. Some of the physical requirements of this position include the ability to talk or hear, stand, bend, sit, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and reach overhead. Ability to lift and/or move items weighing at least 50 pounds. A valid driver's license, satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) report, and the ability to safely and professionally operate a vehicle is a requirement of employment for this position.
