Training focus on Safety in 2017

The first quarter of 2017 is a time for training at J. Ranck Electric. In January, employees gathered at the company’s Mt. Pleasant location for training on rigging, excavation, and crane hand signals. There are still training sessions on excavating and traffic control on the schedule throughout the Spring. The rigging, excavation, and traffic control training sessions are funded by a Skilled Trades Training Fund grant that J. Ranck Electric has received in the amount of $36,962 from the State of Michigan Talent Investment Agency. Through the Great Lakes Bay Michigan Works! Office, JRE applied for and was granted the funds to train up to 127 employees between January 9 and March 20, 2017.
