21 Traffic Signal Locations Near Home
J. Ranck Electric crews haven’t had to travel far from the JRE headquarters to upgrade traffic signals, replace sidewalks and ramps, and remove medians in Mt. Pleasant, Alma, and Clare. Each of the 21 locations that make up the project varies slightly, with some intersections needing modern signals and sidewalks and a couple locations only requiring sign work, and also removing the islands on High St. in Mt. Pleasant to make way for turning lanes. The island removal is part of a larger plan to convert Main Street and Washington Street from one-way streets into two two-way streets between CMU and downtown Mt. Pleasant.
